Effectiveness for Symptoms
Shoulder Pain
・Dull or aching in the joint
・Sharp pain on a certain angle
・Muscle stiffness, heaviness
In my experience, the majority of shoulder pain is caused by the misalignment of the bones such as the humerus, shoulder blade, and clavicle associated with stiffness of the muscle and fascia.
To remove pain, need to loosen the stiff muscles that pull bones around the shoulder joint and get them back to the correct position.
Shoulder Blade Pain
・Dull, sharp, throbbing, aching, or burning pain.
・Weakness in the muscle, difficulty lifting the arm.
・A snapping sound when moving the shoulder.
I will release muscle stiffness and remove the adhesion of fascia between the shoulder blade and rib cage. The pain will be eased and the range of motion increased. You can have a better performance in daily activities.
Sciatica
・Mild ache to sharp, burning pain
・Numbness or tingling in the leg or foot
・Muscle weakness
The tension of deeper muscles around the low back, hip joint, and hamstrings compresses the sciatic nerve, and it causes shooting nerve pain in the affected leg or numbness. I will release muscles on the surface and deeper, making the position of your lumbar, pelvis, and hip joints normal. Then the pain and numbness will be less.
Frozen Shoulder
・Hard to raise or move
・Pinching pain when moving shoulder
・Dull or aching outer shoulder or upper arm
The Scapula, Clavicle bone, and Humerus bone for normal shoulder range of motion are supposed to move together smoothly.
I release muscle tightness that limits the movement of those joints and increases your mobility. That tightness might be caused by the result of daily usage and poor posture. The misalignment of pelvic balance is also needed to be corrected.
Knee Pain
The knee joint is controlled by the Quadriceps muscle and Hamstrings that originated from the pelvis. First, need to loosen up those muscles and then correct the pelvis, hip joint, knee joint, and ankle balance. If the position of each joint and muscles are in the right place, you can walk or run without pain.
Swelling
You can have swelling due to fluid buildup from being overweight, being inactive, sitting or standing for a long time, or wearing something too tight. Body fluid tends to accumulate around the adhesion between muscle fascia. I will release and separate each muscle fascia, increase circulation, and drain body fluid. Massage with oil is very effective in reducing swelling.
Jaw Cracking
It’s also known as Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders. Jaw joint movement is affected by muscle fascia around the neck, shoulder, head, and face. The tension of the muscle fascia pulls the jaw joint and causes some misalignment. To make the jaw joint move smoothly, a tight fascia is needed to be released.
Headache
Sometimes tension of muscle fascia around the head compresses the nerves, and it causes frequent headaches or migraine. I will release the tension of the muscle fascia and get your head, neck, and scapulars back to the correct position. Then nerve compression and pain will be less. You don't have to take medicine every time.
Text Neck
A repetitive stress injury associated with prolonged usage of cellphones and computers.
Symptoms
Pain in the neck, upper back, and shoulder.
Forward head posture and rounded shoulders.
Reduced mobility.
Headache.
Neck flexion pain.
Sway Back Posture
A particular type of poor posture has exaggerated curves in the spine, forward-tilting hips, and leaning back when standing.
It is often caused by tight hamstrings and back muscles, weak abdominal muscles, and pelvis misalignment.
Symptoms
Low back pain
Neck pain
Muscle stiffness
Uneven Shoulders
Uneven shoulders occur when one shoulder is higher than the other. The shoulder on the dominant side of your body is often a little lower.
The position of shoulder blades, pelvis, and legs defines shoulder heights.
Symptoms
Neck/shoulder/low back pain
Headache
Scoliosis
By releasing muscle fascia and certain joints, the discomfort of scoliosis can be reduced. Improvement of daily posture and usage is also effective to keep good condition.
Symptoms
Constant discomfort
Movement restriction
Physical fatigue
Neck Pain
・Painful and heavy in your neck and shoulders.
・Frequently headaches, sometimes nausea.
・Pinching, tightness around the back of the head to neck.
Because of cell phones, PC, long flights, or sleeping wrong…
I release the muscle tightness and correct the balance of the pelvis because it's the foundation of the neck and head. After your head position comes back to correct, neck pain will be removed.
Low Back Pain
・Hard to sit down for a long time.
・Painful when you stand up.
・Constant discomfort in the lower back.
Low back pain is often caused by muscle tension or strain due to pelvis and lumbar spine imbalances.
The pelvic imbalance will lead to damage to the intervertebral discs, compression of nerve roots, and improper movement of the spinal joints.
Treatments of Massage S-Shape not only relax tense muscles but also correct joint positions.
It provides long-lasting pain relief necessary for an active lifestyle.
I assess your posture and condition before the treatment and do the right treatment for you to get better. I also give you an instruction on good sitting posture for your prevention of pain.
Hip Pain
The ball and socket joint (hip joint) position is pulled and somehow not correct. And it causes pain or limitation of the movements. I will release the muscle fascia that pulls the hip joint, take a pelvis balance, and make more space between the ball and socket to move. Then the pain will be less.
Strained Back
Very acute pain such as strained back doesn’t happen suddenly. It happens after the stacking of everyday activities. In many cases, it’s associated with skeletal misalignment on the pelvis and lumbar caused by poor posture when you are sitting, standing, or sleeping. I can reduce tension and pain, but usually, it takes a few days to a couple of weeks to recover. Daily posture is very important to prevent it.
Bunion
Common causes of bunion toe are wearing tight, narrow shoes, or as a result of the shape of your foot, a foot deformity, or a medical condition, such as arthritis. From my experience, the bunion is not only a foot problem, but the balance of the pelvis, hip joint, knee joint, and ankle. After the position of those joints is fixed, and muscle tension from the calf to the foot is reduced, the soreness of the bunion will be better.
Lymphedema
Lymphedema causes excessive swelling in certain parts of the body, such as the arms or legs due to lymphatic fluid accumulating in the soft tissues.
It also causes feelings of heaviness, tightness, tingling, burning or itching, restricted range of motion, hardening and thickening of the skin.
Lymphatic Drainage Massage is effective to move lymph from your tissues to your lymph nodes, which eases the swelling in your tissues, softens the skin, and reduces discomfort.
Eye Strain
Using your eyes makes muscle fascia so tight around the head, face, neck, and shoulders. And it decreases blood circulation to the eyes. Watching is muscle movement. I will loosen muscle tightness that was caused by watching for a long time. Oxygen supply will be increased to your eyes and your sight will be clear.
Physical Fatigue
Muscle fascia is a fibrous connective tissue that wraps the entire body. There is adhesion between each muscle in the area you feel fatigued. I contact both superficial and deep layers and remove the adhesion of muscle fascia. Then your body waste will be drained and each muscle can move easily. You will feel much lighter and have great performance.
Kyphosis
An exaggerated forward rounding of the back also is called hunched back posture.
Symptoms
Back pain
Muscle stiffness
Shallow breathing
Lumbar Lordosis
The lumbar spine curve arches too far inward, and it can lead to excess pressure on the spine, and causes pain and discomfort.
Symptoms
Numbness
Tingling in leg
Low back pain
High Hip
A high hip is essentially when the pelvic joints have become misaligned to the point where one hip looks higher.
Symptoms
Low back pain
Hip pain
Knee pain
Bowlegs / Knock-Knees
Bowlegs: He or she stands the feet together, the toes pointed straight ahead, but the knees do not touch.
Knock-knees: He or she stands the leg together, the feet pointed straight ahead, and the knees touch but their ankles do not.
Symptoms
Knee or hip pain
Foot or ankle pain
Reduced range of motion in hips
Difficulty walking or running
Knee instability
